Welcome and Beyond
Continuing experimentation with a widened palette of materials is demonstrated in this work. ‘Billboard for the Mediated World’ is a celebration of all that is expansive and effusive within American culture. Push pins and mapping pins become a means to draw on walls: making marks as well as a means of holding things in their place. Photographs are an integral component of this body of work using the wall as a site for artwork, like a large canvas.
